Promoting Early Detection and Women’s Health
As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the CAFA Development Organization – Kassala Office organized a meaningful awareness event.
The event carried the theme “Check Early and Reassure Us About You,” highlighting the importance of women’s health and self-care.
This activity was organized in coordination with the Unit for Combating Violence Against Women, Noqtat Dhow Association, SUDO, and the Ministry of Social Development.
In addition, the Pink October campaign aimed to increase public understanding of breast cancer and encourage early detection among women and girls.
Partnership and Community Engagement
Representatives from partner organizations actively participated in the event.
Furthermore, Ms. Sara Elsir, the Director of CAFA Kassala, delivered an inspiring speech on early screening.
She explained that awareness and regular medical checkups play a key role in preventing breast cancer and saving lives.
Moreover, Ms. Sara reaffirmed CAFA’s commitment to supporting women’s health.
She emphasized that community education and continuous engagement are essential to improving health outcomes.
Awareness Sessions and Interactive Activities
The event was held at Saudi Hospital – Kassala, Referral Clinic, and attracted women, youth, and healthcare staff.
It included short awareness sessions about early detection, breast self-examination, and basic health education.
Additionally, medical specialists shared preventive guidance and explained how women can access care within their communities.
Interactive and creative activities were also included to help deliver messages in a simple and engaging manner.
Continuous Commitment to Women’s Empowerment
CAFA expressed appreciation to its team and volunteers for their dedication and cooperation throughout the Pink October event.
Consequently, the organization reaffirmed its mission to empower women with knowledge and improve access to essential health services.

حملت الفعالية شعار “افحصي مبكرًا واطمئني على صحتك”، مؤكدة أهمية صحة المرأة والعناية الذاتية.
تم تنظيم النشاط بالتنسيق مع وحدة مكافحة العنف ضد المرأة، وجمعية نقطة ضوء، وSUDO، ووزارة التنمية الاجتماعية.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك، هدفت حملة أكتوبر الوردي إلى زيادة وعي الجمهور بسرطان الثدي وتشجيع النساء والفتيات على الكشف المبكر.

أقيم الحدث في مستشفى السعودي – كسلا، العيادة المرجعية، وجذب النساء والشباب والكوادر الصحية.
تضمنت الفعالية جلسات توعوية قصيرة حول الكشف المبكر، والفحص الذاتي للثدي، والتعليم الصحي الأساسي.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك، قدم الخبراء الطبيون نصائح وقائية وشرحوا كيفية حصول النساء على الرعاية الصحية في مجتمعاتهن.
كما تضمنت الأنشطة التفاعلية والإبداعية طريقة مبسطة وجاذبة لتوصيل الرسائل الصحية لجميع المشاركين.
لالتزام المستمر بتمكين المرأة
أعربت كافا عن تقديرها لفريقها والمتطوعين على جهودهم وتعاونهم خلال فعالية أكتوبر الوردي.
