Raising Awareness and Promoting Early Detection
The Ministry of Social Welfare – Khartoum State, in collaboration with the Humanitarian Aid Commission, organized the Pink October celebration.
This important event was conducted in partnership with ten international and national organizations, including the CAFA Development Organization.
The celebration aimed to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention and early detection, emphasizing the importance of health education for all.
Through strong coordination and teamwork, the participating organizations demonstrated their shared commitment to community health and women’s well-being.
CAFA’s Contribution to the Pink October Event
During the event, CAFA Development Organization delivered a lecture titled “Psychological Support for Breast Cancer Patients.”
The lecture focused on the emotional and social challenges faced by women living with breast cancer and their families.
Moreover, it highlighted the importance of mental health support in improving treatment outcomes and overall recovery experiences.
The session attracted a large audience from different backgrounds across Khartoum Locality, specifically the Al-Shajara area.
In addition, participants expressed appreciation for CAFA’s effort to connect mental health with medical care and social inclusion.
A Message of Hope and Awareness
The celebration was held under the inspiring slogan “Power of Awareness… A Bright Hope Every Day.”
This theme reflected the collective determination to promote awareness, compassion, and support for breast cancer survivors.
Furthermore, the event included educational activities, discussions, and awareness sessions designed to encourage early screening among women.
Through such initiatives, the Ministry and its partners continue to empower communities and strengthen the national response to health challenges.
Ultimately, the Pink October celebration symbolized unity, awareness, and hope—values that inspire ongoing commitment to women’s health and dignity.
رفع الوعي وتعزيز الكشف المبكر
نفذت وزارة الرعاية الاجتماعية بولاية الخرطوم بالتعاون مع مفوضية العون الإنساني فعالية الاحتفال بأكتوبر الوردي
وجاء هذا الحدث المهم بالشراكة مع عشر منظمات عالمية ومحلية من بينها منظمة كافا للتنمية
وهدفت الفعالية إلى رفع الوعي حول سرطان الثدي وطرق الوقاية منه وأهمية الكشف المبكر بين النساء في مختلف الفئات
ومن خلال تنسيق وجهود مشتركة، جسدت المنظمات المشاركة التزامها القوي تجاه الصحة المجتمعية ورفاه المرأة
مشاركة كافا في فعالية أكتوبر الوردي
قدمت منظمة كافا للتنمية خلال الفعالية محاضرة بعنوان “الدعم النفسي لمرضى سرطان الثدي”
وركزت المحاضرة على التحديات النفسية والاجتماعية التي تواجه النساء المصابات بسرطان الثدي وأسرهن خلال مراحل العلاج والتعافي
كما تناولت أهمية الدعم النفسي في تعزيز فعالية العلاج وتحسين جودة الحياة للمرضى
وحظيت الجلسة بحضور جماهيري كبير من مختلف الفئات المجتمعية بمحلية الخرطوم، وبالأخص من منطقة الشجرة
إضافة إلى ذلك، أشاد الحاضرون بدور كافا في الربط بين الصحة النفسية والرعاية الطبية والدعم الاجتماعي
رسالة أمل ووعي مستمر
أقيم الاحتفال تحت الشعار الملهم “قوة الوعي.. أمل مشرق في كل يوم”، الذي عكس روح التكاتف والأمل لدى الجميع
وجسد الشعار الإصرار الجماعي على تعزيز الوعي والرحمة والدعم للنساء الناجيات من سرطان الثدي
كما شملت الفعالية أنشطة توعوية ونقاشات ومحاضرات تثقيفية ركزت على أهمية الفحص المبكر بين النساء
ومن خلال هذه المبادرات، تؤكد الوزارة وشركاؤها التزامهم بتمكين المجتمعات وتعزيز الاستجابة الوطنية للقضايا الصحية
وفي الختام، شكل احتفال أكتوبر الوردي رمزًا للوحدة والأمل والوعي، وقوةً دافعةً نحو مستقبل أكثر صحة وكرامة للنساء
