Children Receive Psychological First Aid Training in Al Jazirah

Children in Al Jazirah are receiving support through a new psychological first aid training program. CAFA for Development, in partnership with UNICEF, organized this workshop to help children affected by war and crisis. The training targets social researchers, teachers, protection network members, and caregivers working directly with children. Over five days, 25 participants learn practical skills to help children handle psychological stress. The program takes place in South Al Jazirah and Greater Madani. It is part of the broader “Improving the Well-being of Children and Their Families Affected by War” project, which covers three localities: Greater Madani, South Al Jazirah, and Al Managil. CAFA and UNICEF stress the importance of this training, as it helps create a safer and more supportive environment for children and their families during challenging times.
