Local Partner Training under the Cash Assistance Project
Community awareness and leadership engagement activities in Rahad and Um Rawaba were strengthened through a local partner training conducted under the Cash Assistance Project.
From 13 to 15 September 2025, trainers conducted a workshop at Police Hall. This activity was part of the Cash Assistance Project, implemented by the Cash Assistance Union (CCS) in partnership with Mercy Corps, and funded by ECHO and FCDO.
The workshop included 15 trainees from each project. Importantly, it aimed to build the capacity of local partners to implement cash assistance programs effectively in their communities.

During the training, participants explored several key areas:

Unconditional Cash Assistance Concepts: Trainees learned how to manage and distribute aid efficiently while maintaining transparency.

Community Accountability Mechanisms: Additionally, they practiced collecting community feedback and responding to needs promptly.

Referral System: The training introduced clear steps for referring beneficiaries to relevant services and organizations.
Furthermore, interactive sessions helped trainees understand the importance of each process in improving program outcomes.

This training significantly strengthened local leadership and increased community awareness about cash assistance programs. As a result, local partners in Rahad and Um Rawaba are now better prepared to engage with communities and ensure aid reaches those in need.

في الفترة من 13 إلى 15 سبتمبر 2025، قام المدربون بعقد ورشة تدريبية في قاعة الشرطة. وقد جاءت هذه الورشة ضمن مشروع المساعدات النقدية الذي ينفذه اتحاد المساعدات النقدية (CCS) بالشراكة مع منظمة ميرسي كور وبتمويل من ECHO و FCDO.
ضم التدريب 15 متدربًا من كل مشروع. ومن المهم أن الهدف كان بناء قدرات الشركاء المحليين لتنفيذ برامج المساعدات النقدية بفعالية في مجتمعاتهم.
