Child Protection Service Mapping Activities

As part of the Child Well-being Project, CAFA Development Organization, with support from UNICEF, conducted two Child Protection Service Mapping exercises in Sennar State.
The activities targeted fragile and conflict-affected areas in Suki and Dinder localities.

Multi-Sector Participation

The events brought together representatives from various sectors. In particular, participants included:
✔️ Health Affairs and Nutrition Department
✔️ Midwifery and Health Insurance
✔️ Zakat Chamber, Social Welfare, and Child Care
✔️ Executive Directors and Administrative Officers
✔️ Humanitarian Aid Commission
✔️ Security and Military Intelligence Services

Strengthening Coordination and Services

Through these exercises, stakeholders reviewed existing child protection services. Moreover, they identified gaps and opportunities for improvement.

As a result, coordination among partners was strengthened.
Ultimately, this initiative contributes to improving child protection services for vulnerable and conflict-affected communities 🌙💪
