CAFA Development Organization – Sennar State Office conducted a field assessment in Suki Locality, covering Qaladima and Shashina. The activity is part of the Project to Improve and Enhance the Well-being of Children in Conflict and Vulnerability Areas in Sennar State, funded by UNICEF.

Field Assessment for Child-Friendly Spaces

The assessment was carried out in collaboration with the Child Welfare Council and the Humanitarian Aid Commission. Together, the partners identified the technical requirements for rehabilitating child-friendly spaces. In addition, the assessment helped identify priority needs in the targeted communities.

Objectives of the Child-Friendly Spaces Project

The project aims to create safe and supportive spaces for children. Furthermore, it seeks to improve children’s psychosocial well-being. Moreover, it contributes to enhancing the quality of child protection services in conflict-affected and vulnerable areas.
