CAFA and NRC Enhance Sanitation and Dignity in Kassala Shelter Centers
Environmental Sanitation Activities
CAFA Development Organization, in collaboration with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), carried out a sanitation campaign in the shelter centers of Kassala State. The initiative aimed to improve public hygiene and reduce the risk of disease outbreaks in these vulnerable communities.
Distribution of Sanitation Kits
As part of the campaign, essential sanitation kits were distributed to families residing in the shelters. These kits help promote cleanliness and create a safer, healthier living environment for displaced individuals.
Dignity Kits for Women and Girls
In addition to sanitation efforts, dignity kits were also provided to women and girls. These kits contain personal hygiene items tailored to their specific needs, helping them maintain their dignity and well-being in difficult conditions.
Ongoing Humanitarian Support
This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of both organizations to support displaced populations in Sudan. Through their joint efforts, they aim to improve the living conditions and protect the rights of the most vulnerable groups affected by conflict and displacement
