Program Overview

This program aimed to enhance youth involvement in development initiatives and moderation processes across communities in Blue Nile State.
Consequently, it focused on building capacities, increasing awareness, and promoting inclusion of youth in decision-making and policy development.

Knowledge and Awareness Outcomes

Firstly, participants gained significant knowledge of the root causes of violence, including university-based conflicts and strategies for countering violent extremism (CVE).
Moreover, the program provided tools to analyze and address local conflicts while empowering youth to contribute meaningfully to peaceful development initiatives.

Gender Inclusion and Participation

In addition, the program ensured that gender considerations and female participation were included in various policies within youth associations.
As a result, women and girls increasingly engaged in planning, decision-making, and implementation of youth-led projects across multiple localities.

Stakeholder Engagement and Policy Impact

Furthermore, stakeholders reached an agreement on the critical role of youth involvement in implementing youth-related policies in the Blue Nile strategic plan.
Therefore, youth became recognized as key partners in policy formulation, fostering sustainability, accountability, and broader community participation.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the program successfully enhanced youth knowledge, promoted gender inclusion, and strengthened youth participation in policy and development processes.
Consequently, Blue Nile communities witnessed more inclusive, youth-driven initiatives that contributed to peace, moderation, and sustainable development outcomes.
