Mobile Clinics Providing Essential Health Services

Within the framework of the free mobile clinics project, CAFA Development Organization, in partnership with the Ministry of Health – Khartoum State and funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), launched medical services across targeted localities.

The project aims to improve access to healthcare services in East Nile, Umbadda, and Bahri.

Day One: High Community Turnout

On the first day, the CAFA team visited Al-Falah Health Center (Haj Yousif – North Block 3).
The clinic witnessed a high turnout from the community.

A total of 100 patients from different age groups received services at the general physician’s clinic.
In addition, the pharmacy dispensed 100 medical prescriptions.

Moreover, the mental health clinic received 18 cases.
At the same time, the midwifery clinic provided services to 20 women, including antenatal care and consultations.

Day Two: Continued Service Delivery

On the second day, the mobile clinic moved to Haj Yousif Al-Radmiya (Health Center – Block 17).

During this day, the general clinic served 100 patients, while 95 prescriptions were dispensed.
Furthermore, the mental health clinic recorded 19 cases.

In addition, 28 women accessed midwifery and women’s healthcare services.

Expanding Healthcare Access

The mobile clinics will continue to operate across approximately 17 health centers.
As a result, the project will ensure broader coverage in East Nile, Umbadda, and Bahri localities.

Ultimately, this initiative strengthens access to essential healthcare and supports vulnerable communities across Khartoum State 🌙💪
