Field Visit to Child-Friendly Spaces

As part of the Child Well-being Project, CAFA Development Organization, in partnership with UNICEF and in coordination with the Child Welfare Council of Gezira State, conducted a field visit in South Gezira locality.

The visit focused on strengthening Child-Friendly Spaces (CFS) in conflict-affected communities.

Participation and Monitoring

The field visit included the Project Director, the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, and a representative from the Child Welfare Council.
Together, they reviewed ongoing activities and assessed implementation progress.

Supporting Children’s Well-being

Through this visit, the team aimed to enhance the role of child-friendly spaces. In addition, they focused on improving children’s psychological and social well-being.

Moreover, the initiative supports the creation of safe environments for children and their families.
As a result, communities benefit from stronger protection and support systems.
