Yesterday marked the conclusion of the second training workshop on Psychological First Aid for health volunteers in Sheikh Al-Tayeb and Al-Amriya centers.
The 3-day workshop targeted 10 volunteers, a health promoter, and 2 psychologists, covering topics such as psychological first aid for adults and children, referral systems, and methods of providing community-based mental health support.
Training took place at Sheikh Abdel Latif Mosque Center in North Rural, under the supervision of the Mental Health Department at the Ministry of Health, with Dr. Nahid Bandar, facilitators, coordinators, and visits from IRC partners and CAFA project team.
