As part of the ongoing health emergency response, a tripartite meeting was held in Al Nuhud Locality, Foja Administrative Unit. The meeting brought together CAFA Development Organization, the Minister of Health of West Kordofan State, and the Director of the Federal Environmental Health Department.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the interventions implemented so far. In addition, they discussed the areas affected by the cholera outbreak. Furthermore, they assessed the current health situation and response challenges.
Recognition of CAFA’s Efforts
The Minister of Health commended CAFA Development Organization for its rapid response. Moreover, he praised the organization’s effective role in supporting cholera control efforts. He also noted that these interventions contributed to improving the health situation in several affected communities.
As a result, some communities have experienced greater health stability. Likewise, the implemented activities have strengthened the overall response to the outbreak.
Federal Support for Response Activities
Meanwhile, the Director of the Federal Environmental Health Department reaffirmed his full support for West Kordofan State. In addition, he confirmed continued support through the provision of insecticides and various types of spraying equipment.
Therefore, response teams will be better equipped to expand prevention activities and reduce the spread of disease.
Commitment to Continued Collaboration
Finally, all participants renewed their commitment to coordination and joint action. Furthermore, they emphasized the importance of strengthening health interventions to protect communities and reduce the risks associated with disease outbreaks.
اجتماع تنسيقي لدعم الاستجابة الصحية
في إطار الاستجابة للطوارئ الصحية، عُقد اجتماع ثلاثي بمحلية النهود – إدارية فوجا. وقد ضم الاجتماع منظمة كافا للتنمية، ووزير الصحة بولاية غرب كردفان، ومدير صحة البيئة الاتحادي.
وخلال الاجتماع، استعرض المشاركون التدخلات المنفذة حتى الآن. كما ناقشوا المناطق المتأثرة بوباء الكوليرا. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، قيّموا الوضع الصحي الراهن والتحديات المرتبطة بالاستجابة.
إشادة بدور منظمة كافا للتنمية
من جانبه، أشاد وزير الصحة بولاية غرب كردفان بالدور الفاعل لمنظمة كافا للتنمية. كما أثنى على سرعة استجابتها للتدخلات الطارئة. وعلاوة على ذلك، أكد أن جهود المنظمة ساهمت في تحسين الوضع الصحي بعدد من المناطق المتأثرة.
