📍 Khartoum State – East Nile Locality, Sudan

As part of the Free Mobile Clinics Project, CAFA Development Organization, in partnership with the Khartoum State Ministry of Health and with support from UNFPA, continued providing essential healthcare services to communities in East Nile locality.

In this context, the project team visited Al-Falah Health Center in Haj Yousif (Block 3) to deliver free medical and reproductive health services.

High Community Turnout on Day One

On the first day, the clinic recorded a high turnout from the community. As a result, 100 patients from different age groups received consultations and treatment through the general clinic.

In addition, the pharmacy dispensed 100 medical prescriptions. Meanwhile, the mental health clinic provided services to 18 beneficiaries. Furthermore, 20 women received antenatal care and consultations through the midwifery clinic.

Continued Services on Day Two

On the second day, the mobile clinic moved to Haj Yousif Al-Radmiya (Block 17). Similarly, the general clinic served 100 patients.

Moreover, the pharmacy dispensed 95 prescriptions. At the same time, the mental health clinic received 19 cases. In addition, 28 women benefited from midwifery and reproductive health services.

Expanding Healthcare Coverage

Looking ahead, the mobile clinics will continue operating across approximately 17 health centers. Consequently, the project aims to expand access to healthcare services in East Nile, Umbadda, and Bahri localities.

Supporting Vulnerable Communities

Ultimately, these efforts reflect CAFA’s commitment to improving access to essential healthcare services. Furthermore, the initiative supports vulnerable communities and contributes to strengthening the local health system through sustainable humanitarian interventions. 🌙💪
