📦 570 Households Benefit from Non-Food Item Distribution in East Gezira

As part of the Multi-Purpose Humanitarian Assistance Project in Gezira State, KAFA Development Organization distributed non-food items in East Gezira locality. This intervention was implemented in partnership with the International Aid Organization and with support from the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF).

The distribution covered four communities: Rufaa, Bant, Dalout Al-Bahar, and Al-Buwaida. As a result, 570 vulnerable households received essential non-food items.

Among the beneficiaries, 327 were female-headed households. In addition, 243 were male-headed households.

The activity aims to improve living conditions for vulnerable families. Furthermore, it helps strengthen household resilience and supports communities facing humanitarian challenges.

The launch event was attended by representatives of the Executive Director’s Office, the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC), and the Environmental Health Department of the Ministry of Health. Meanwhile, stakeholders highlighted the importance of continued humanitarian support in the area.
