**Closing of the Multipurpose Cash Assistance Project in Al Jazira State**

As part of the **Multipurpose Cash Assistance Project in Al Jazira State**, implemented in partnership with the **International Rescue Committee (IRC)** and supported by the **Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF)**, **CAFA Development Organization**, in coordination with IRC, organized the project closing event.

The project covered **South Al Jazira and Greater Wad Madani localities**, reaching a total of **720 beneficiaries**.

The closing event was attended by the **Director General of the Ministry of Social Welfare and Development, representing the Minister**, the **Humanitarian Aid Commission Commissioner**, representatives of IRC, social welfare representatives from Greater Wad Madani and South Al Jazira localities, representatives of the **Al-Mansoura East and West** neighborhood committees, community representatives from **Al-Kameer Fazari and Wad Al-Nour villages**, as well as partners and other organizations working in cash assistance.

**The closing event included:**

• A presentation highlighting the project and its implementation phases.

• A documentary video showcasing the project journey from start to completion.

• Remarks from participating organizations and local authorities.

• Recognition of the **Ministry of Social Welfare and Development, Humanitarian Aid Commission, and targeted community committees** in appreciation of their efforts, coordination, and support in facilitating access to beneficiaries.

• Discussion of challenges encountered at different levels of implementation.

• Sharing lessons learned and recommendations to strengthen future projects and interventions.

The discussions highlighted the importance of strengthening coordination among government authorities, humanitarian partners, and organizations, while building on lessons learned and implementation experiences to improve future interventions.

At the conclusion of the event, **CAFA Development Organization** expressed its sincere appreciation to all participants, partner organizations, local authorities, community committees, and the **project team** for their tremendous efforts and contribution to the successful implementation of the project.

The **Humanitarian Aid Commission Commissioner** also recommended that the Ministry of Social Welfare and Development issue **a certificate of achievement to CAFA Development Organization** in recognition of the successful implementation of the Multipurpose Cash Assistance Project in Al Jazira State.
