As part of the Cholera Emergency Response Project, CAFA for Development, in partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and in full coordination with the Ministry of Health and the Humanitarian Aid Commission representative, conducted a series of community health awareness sessions to strengthen prevention messages and promote healthy practices.

Although Sudan is currently free of cholera, prevention and community preparedness remain the first line of defense against potential outbreaks.

Activities included the distribution of soap and waste collection tools to support hygiene practices, alongside health messages delivered through the drama team (Hanan Jota), reflecting the importance of innovation in community communication and ensuring impactful and sustainable engagement 🌙💪
