CAFA Organization for Development – West Kordofan (Al-Nuhud), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and with support from UNICEF, implemented a training course for health workers participating in the comprehensive survey targeting children under five years of age, as well as pregnant and lactating women. The survey period lasted seven days and was conducted within the framework of the Integrated Health and Nutrition Response Project.

During the training, facilitators highlighted the role of volunteers in correcting misconceptions, delivering key messages, and enhancing community interaction and responsiveness to awareness messages. It was also noted that some families require further guidance on safe referral practices and reporting mechanisms
