CAFA Executive Director Visits Northern Rural Area

Mr. Yassir Ibrahim, Executive Director of CAFA  Development organization , accompanied by Mr. Abdullah Saleh, Programs Manager at Khartoum Office, attended the closing session of the community health volunteers’ training on maternal care and newborn health.
The training was held from February 9–11, 2026, in Karari locality – Northern Rural Area, Sheikh Al-Tayeb, as part of the multi-sectoral emergency response project for vulnerable returnees and host communities affected by the war in Sudan. The project is funded by the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in partnership with the Ministry of Health, Khartoum State.

The event was attended by representatives from IRC, the Humanitarian Aid Commission, the Ministry of Health, and CAFA project team, along with ten community health volunteers.
