From Knowledge to Action | Strengthening Safe Referrals and Protection

**Khartoum | 19 August 2026**

A specialized workshop bringing together service providers and community leaders from Bahri and Ombada concluded with a focus on strengthening safe referral pathways and coordination among protection, healthcare, social, psychosocial, and legal service providers.

The workshop was organized by **CAFA Development Organization** and **Save the Children**, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development, and with support from the **Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF)**.

Discussions focused on referral mechanisms, service mapping, violence prevention, confidentiality, and inclusive access to services for vulnerable groups, including persons with disabilities.
