Referral System in Dardeeb Locality to Improve Reproductive Health Services

As part of its commitment to enhancing the quality of healthcare and reducing maternal mortality, Kafa Organization for Development, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health – Reproductive Health Directorate, and with the generous support and funding of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), organized a specialized training for health workers in Dardeeb Locality, Delai Area.

Training Objectives and Focus:

The activity targeted 10 health personnel and focused on improving work mechanisms to ensure a rapid and effective health response:

• Main Objective: Reduce maternal mortality rates in the area by ensuring timely access to life-saving medical care.

• Strengthening the Referral System: Training participants on the critical importance of efficient and professional health referrals.

Rapid Response, Logistical and Financial Support, and Strategic Impact:

• Capacity building on fast and safe referral of patients to ensure access to specialized care at critical times.

• Kafa Organization emphasized the importance of sustainability of health initiatives and, in this context, provided direct financial support to the local referral fund, aiming to enhance its efficiency and improve operational mechanisms for continuous service delivery.

• This high-quality training represents a strategic step toward strengthening local capacity to provide integrated and sustainable reproductive health services to rural communities. These joint efforts are expected to significantly reduce health risks and improve the overall quality of care provided to mothers and children.
