As part of the Multi-Sectoral Life-Saving Assistance Project for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), Returnees, and Host Communities in East Al Jazirah Locality, CAFA Development Organization conducted a Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Safety Audit in partnership with Triangle Génération Humanitaire (TGH), in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Welfare, and with support from the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF).

The GBV Safety Audit aims to strengthen humanitarian protection by identifying safety risks and protection concerns affecting internally displaced people, returnees, and host communities, with particular attention to women, girls, and other vulnerable groups. The findings will help improve humanitarian programming and ensure safer, more inclusive services.

The activity also promotes community participation in identifying protection needs and developing practical recommendations to reduce the risks of gender-based violence while improving access to safe, dignified, and survivor-centered services.
