The hygiene and dignity kit distribution in White Nile State is part of the ongoing humanitarian efforts of CAFA Development Organization – White Nile Office to support internally displaced people and vulnerable communities. The activity was implemented under the Joint Response Project, in partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and with support from the Dutch Relief Alliance, targeting Goz Al-Salam IDP camps.

Hygiene and Dignity Kit Distribution at Goz Al-Salam IDP Camps

The intervention included the distribution of 500 hygiene kits and 80 dignity kits. In total, approximately 3,150 people benefited from the activity, including 105 pregnant and lactating women and 31 persons with disabilities.

Objectives of the Hygiene and Dignity Kit Distribution

The activity aims to support the most vulnerable groups while promoting hygiene and sanitation practices in the camps. Furthermore, it helps improve living conditions for displaced families and reduces health risks among camp residents.
