As part of the Multi-Sectoral Emergency Response Project, CAFA Development Organization, in partnership with International Relief Organization and with support from the Sudan Humanitarian Fund, implemented a community awareness campaign on protection and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Dalout Al-Bahr, East Gezira locality.

The campaign aimed to raise community awareness about the risks and forms of GBV and its impact on individuals and communities.

In addition, sessions focused on prevention methods, reporting mechanisms, and available support services for survivors.

Moreover, the activities encouraged open dialogue, helping to correct misconceptions and promote positive community behaviors.

Ultimately, this initiative contributes to creating safer and more supportive environments within local communities 🌙💪

في إطار مشروع الاستجابة الطارئة متعددة القطاعات، نفذت منظمة كافا للتنمية، بالشراكة مع منظمة الإغاثة الدولية، وبدعم من الصندوق الإنساني للسودان، نشاطًا للتوعية المجتمعية حول الحماية والعنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي في منطقة دلوت البحر بمحلية شرق الجزيرة.

وقد هدفت الحملات إلى رفع مستوى الوعي المجتمعي بمخاطر العنف القائم على النوع، والتعريف بأشكاله وآثاره على الأفراد والمجتمع.

كما ركّزت الجلسات على سبل الوقاية، وآليات الإبلاغ، والخدمات المتاحة للناجين، بما يسهم في تعزيز الحماية المجتمعية.

علاوة على ذلك، شجعت الأنشطة على الحوار المجتمعي المفتوح، مما ساهم في تصحيح المفاهيم الخاطئة وتعزيز السلوكيات الإيجابية.

وفي الختام، تمثل هذه المبادرة خطوة مهمة نحو بناء بيئة أكثر أمانًا ودعمًا داخل المجتمعات المحلية 🌙💪
