📍 Gezira State – East Gezira Locality
Training Water Committees Volunteers and Strengthening Community Capacity 💧✨
By the grace of God, the final group of Water Committees volunteers in East Gezira locality has been successfully trained as part of the multi-sectoral response project.
The project addresses key needs across water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), non-food items (NFIs), health, nutrition, and food security sectors.
Enhancing Environmental Health Knowledge
In this context, a training workshop was also conducted for community health workers to strengthen their knowledge in environmental health, water, and hygiene.
The workshop targeted 20 volunteers from the first group, contributing to improved field performance and community response.
Partnerships and Support
These activities were implemented in partnership with RELIEF Organization, with support from the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF).
Additionally, they were carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Health to ensure effective and integrated implementation.

Ultimately, these efforts represent an important step toward empowering communities and enhancing their resilience in addressing health and environmental challenges 🌙💪

تدريب متطوعي لجان المياه وتعزيز القدرات المجتمعية 💧✨
بحمد الله وتوفيقه، تم استكمال تدريب الدفعة الأخيرة من متطوعي لجان المياه بمحلية شرق الجزيرة، وذلك في إطار مشروع الاستجابة متعددة القطاعات.
ويستهدف المشروع تلبية الاحتياجات في مجالات المياه والإصحاح البيئي (WASH)، والمواد غير الغذائية (NFIs)، والصحة، والتغذية، والأمن الغذائي.
تعزيز المعرفة الصحية والبيئية
وفي هذا السياق، تم تنفيذ ورشة تدريبية لمتطوعي الصحة المجتمعية، هدفت إلى تعزيز معارفهم في مجالات الصحة البيئية والمياه والنظافة.
وقد استهدفت الورشة 20 متطوعًا من المجموعة الأولى، مما يسهم في رفع كفاءة العمل الميداني وتحسين الاستجابة المجتمعية.
الشراكات والدعم
تم تنفيذ هذه الأنشطة بالشراكة مع منظمة الإغاثة (RELIEF)، وبدعم من الصندوق الإنساني للسودان (SHF).
كما تم ذلك بالتنسيق مع وزارة الصحة، بما يعزز تكامل الجهود وتحقيق أثر مستدام.
