CAFA Development Organization UNFPA Health Project is making a strong impact on Sudan’s healthcare system by enhancing hospitals and health centers in Khartoum, Omdurman, and East Nile localities. The project focuses on providing renewable energy solutions, medical equipment, and evaluation support to improve service delivery and patient care.
Under this project, CAFA has installed solar energy systems in three important health centers: Sharoni Health Center, Al-Shaheeda Nada Health Center in East Nile, and Urtshi Health Center in Khartoum. These installations ensure uninterrupted electricity for critical services, especially maternal and child healthcare.
CAFA Development Organization also provides modern laboratory equipment to hospitals and health centers. This initiative strengthens diagnostic capacity and supports healthcare staff in delivering timely and accurate medical services.
Regular evaluation visits are conducted across Khartoum and East Nile to monitor project progress, address challenges, and ensure the effectiveness of interventions delivered under the UNFPA-supported project.
The project collaborates closely with local health authorities, community stakeholders, and international partners. For example, CAFA shares knowledge and resources with UNFPA Sudan and other NGOs to scale sustainable healthcare solutions.
