📍 Sennar State – Suki and Dinder Localities

As part of the Improving the Well-being of Children in Conflict-Affected and Fragile Areas Project, funded by UNICEF, the third day of the specialized training workshop on Child Protection in Emergencies and Community Reintegration continued successfully.

Furthermore, the workshop targets 20 participants, including social workers and service providers from the State Council for Child Welfare, as well as representatives from Suki and Dinder localities.

During the third-day sessions, the training focused on strengthening participants’ skills in managing cases involving children affected by emergencies. Moreover, it covered psychosocial support approaches and effective strategies for community reintegration.

In addition, participants engaged in interactive discussions and experience-sharing sessions. As a result, these activities enhanced professional capacities and improved the quality of services provided to vulnerable children and families.

Ultimately, this workshop represents an important step toward strengthening child protection systems. At the same time, it helps build the capacity of frontline workers to respond more effectively to emergencies and support the most vulnerable children within their communities. 💙
