As part of the Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance Project in Gezira State, supported by the International Rescue Committee (IRC), CAFA Development Organization conducted the introductory and opening meeting for the project on May 11, 2026.

In addition, the activity was implemented in coordination and cooperation with the Ministry of Social Welfare and Development to strengthen humanitarian response efforts and support vulnerable families.

Supporting 720 Beneficiaries in Greater Madani and South Gezira

The Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance Project in Gezira State targets 720 beneficiaries in Greater Madani and South Gezira localities.

During the meeting, participants discussed the project objectives and targeted areas. Furthermore, they reviewed beneficiary selection criteria, registration procedures, and distribution mechanisms.

Moreover, discussions highlighted the importance of effective coordination between CAFA Development Organization, the Ministry of Social Welfare, and the Humanitarian Aid Commission.
