Health Workers Training on Protection and Safeguards

As part of the Integrated Health and Nutrition Response Project, CAFA Development Organization, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and with support from UNICEF, conducted a specialized training program for health workers in Al-Nuhud.

Training Focus Areas

The training covered several key topics essential for quality service delivery. These included:
✔️ Environmental and Social Safeguards
✔️ Gender-Based Violence (GBV)
✔️ Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP)
✔️ Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)

Building Capacity and Improving Services

Through this program, participants enhanced their technical knowledge and practical skills.
In addition, the training aimed to improve the quality and accessibility of health services.

Moreover, it supports the integration of protection principles into health interventions.

Promoting Community Well-being

As a result, health workers are better prepared to respond to community needs.
Therefore, the initiative contributes to stronger protection systems and improved well-being across West Kordofan.
