📍 Sennar State – Suki & Dinder Localities

As part of the project to improve the well-being of children in conflict-affected and fragile areas, which is funded by UNICEF, the third day of a specialized training workshop on Child Protection in Emergencies and Community Reintegration continued successfully.

Furthermore, the workshop targets 20 participants, including social workers and service providers from the State Council for Child Welfare, as well as representatives from Suki and Dinder localities.

During this stage, the third-day sessions focused on strengthening participants’ skills in managing cases of children affected by emergencies. Moreover, the training also covered approaches to psychosocial support and effective reintegration of children into their communities.

In addition, interactive discussions and experience-sharing sessions were conducted. As a result, these activities contributed significantly to enhancing participants’ capacities and improving service delivery.

Ultimately, this training represents a key step toward strengthening child protection systems. At the same time, it helps build the capacity of frontline workers to respond more effectively to emergencies 🌙💪
